Best things about Halloween in Paris:

• Big bands playing "Thriller" near the metro
  
• Subway tunnels full of people dressed as zombies (they're just waiting for their train, but, with an active imagination, they're after your BRAINS)
  
• Midnight marathons of campy French zombie movies at art house cinemas (breakfast included!)
• Translations of Tim Burton film titles:

- Edward Scissorhands= Edward aux mains d'argent (Edward Moneyhands)
- Tim Burton's Corpse Bride= Les noces funèbres de Tim Burton (Tim Burton's Ghastly Wedding)
-The Nightmare Before Christmas= L'étrange Noël de Mister Jack (Mister Jack's Strange Christmas)
- Sleepy Hollow= La légende du cavalier sans tête (The Legend of the Headless Horseman...technically correct, but why bother translating a proper name. See also "Hôtel Woodstock")
